A. 
Call firefighters shall be appointed by resolution of the Township Committee on recommendation of the Chief.[1]

B. 
They shall be subject to summary removal by resolution of the Township Committee.

Any member of the paid Fire Department of any rank who shall elect to take retirement and to accept any of the benefits, including but not limited to terminal leave, accumulated sick time, vacation time or personal days, shall be prohibited from withdrawing the notice of or application for retirement and seeking to return to active duty.
The duties of Lieutenants of the Call Fire Department shall be to:
A. 
Ensure the return of all equipment to the proper apparatus after a fire.
B. 
Call firefighters for a change of hose and superintend such operations as scheduled.
C. 
Carry out the orders of the Chief, Battalion Chiefs and Lieutenants of said Department.[1]
