A.
No convenience stores with or without gasoline service stations and
gasoline service stations to which the public is invited located within
200 feet of a residential property in any district in the Township
of Cranford shall be open between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 5:00
a.m.
B.
No other business or commercial establishment, other than those businesses
identified above, to which the public is invited shall be open between
the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. unless:

In
addition thereto the business or commercial establishment shall employ
a security officer or the premises has in operation a security device
approved by the Chief of Police of the Township of Cranford, which
may consist of a silent and/or audible burglar alarm connected to
a central security monitoring system designed to activate police response,
a closed-circuit television connected to a central monitoring system
designed to activate police response or such other device which can
be activated instantaneously to notify law enforcement officers that
a crime or disorderly persons activity is in progress.
