Borough of Barnegat Light, NJ Article XIII Safety Officer

§ 32-46 Creation of position.

There is hereby created the position of Safety Officer for the Borough of Barnegat Light.

§ 32-47 Appointment; term of office.

The Safety Officer shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough Council and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and Borough Council.

§ 32-48 Powers and duties.

The Safety Officer shall perform all such duties as are assigned from time to time by the Mayor, Borough Council and/or Borough Administrator.

§ 32-49 Compensation.

Compensation for the Safety Officer shall be determined by the Mayor and Borough Council from time to time, which shall be in accordance with the Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Barnegat Light.[1]
