A.ย 
Individuals receiving transportation or services from the Monona Emergency Medical Services shall be charged fees as follows:
(1)ย 
A fee shall be established by the Common Council; and
(2)ย 
Charges for mileage, medications, supplies and all other consumable goods provided shall be in an amount established by the Public Safety Committee.
B.ย 
If the ambulance fee is not covered by insurance, or partially covered, and the person is unable to pay the fee, he or she may request a waiver of the balance due.
C.ย 
An active member of the Monona Emergency Medical Services or the Monona Fire Department or the active member's immediate family living in the same household shall not be charged ambulance transportation fees if transported within the City limits.

If a person or organization requests a dedicated ambulance or other EMS unit for an event, or such unit is otherwise required for such event, the requester or event organizer shall be charged an ambulance standby fee in an amount established by the Public Safety Committee. The fee shall be paid at least five days prior to the event and shall be in addition to any fees or charges for services provided to any patient.
