The Planning Board may require that utilities, including but
not limited to gas, electric power, telephone, and cable, be located
underground. Where the Planning Board deems it appropriate, existing
utility facilities located aboveground, except those existing on public
roads and rights-of-way, shall be removed and placed underground.
Utilities, existing and proposed, shall be shown on the final plan.
Underground service connections to the street property line of each
platted lot shall be installed at the subdivider's expense. At the
discretion of the Planning Board, the requirement for service connections
to each lot may be waived in the case of adjoining lots to be retained
in single ownership and intended to be developed for the same primary
use.
