Section 500.005 Building Code Adoption.

A. A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Building Code, 2015 Edition, including all Appendix Chapters, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the City of Warsaw, in the State of Missouri, for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human occupancy and use and the demolition of such structures as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor. Each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code on file in the office of the City of Warsaw are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.

B. The following sections are hereby revised:

2. Table 1612.3. City of Warsaw, Missouri.

Section 500.010 Residential Code Adoption.

A. A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Residential Code, 2015 Edition, including all Appendix Chapters, but omitting Sections R309.5, R313.2, R313.2.1, P2904, E3902.15, 3902.15, 3902.16, 3902.17, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Residential Code of the City of Warsaw, in the State of Missouri, for regulating and governing the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, location, removal and demolition of detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings (townhouses) not more three (3) stories in height with separate means of egress as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Residential Code on file in the office of the City of Warsaw are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.

B. The following sections are hereby revised:

2. Table R301.2(1). Ten degrees (10°).

Section 500.015 Mechanical Code Adoption.

A. A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Mechanical Code, 2015 Edition, including all Appendix Chapters, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of the City of Warsaw, in the State of Missouri, for regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of mechanical systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Mechanical Code on file in the office of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.

B. The following sections are hereby revised:

2. Section 106.5.2. Based on the City of Warsaw, Missouri, Building Permit Fees.

3. Section 106.5.3. Zero percent (0%); one-hundred percent (100%).

Section 500.020 Electrical Code Adoption.

A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, being marked and designated as the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, 2014 Edition, including all Appendix Chapters, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Electrical Code of the City of Warsaw, in the State of Missouri, for regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of electrical systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Electrical Code on file in the office of the City of Warsaw are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.

B. The following sections are hereby revised:

A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Plumbing Code, 2015 Edition, including all Appendix Chapters, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the City of Warsaw, in the State of Missouri, for regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Plumbing Code on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Warsaw are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.

B. The following sections are hereby revised:

Section 500.030 Fire Code Adoption.

A. A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Fire Code, 2015 Edition, including all Appendix Chapters, but omitting Section 5806.2, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the City of Warsaw, in the State of Missouri, for regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fire Code on file in the office of the City of Warsaw are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.

B. The following sections are hereby revised:

C. The geographic limits referred to in certain sections of the 2015 International Fire Code are hereby established as follows:

4. Section 6104.2. M1, M2 and C3.

Section 500.035 Fuel Gas Code Adoption.

A. A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Fuel Gas Code, 2015 Edition, including Appendix Chapters, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fuel Gas Code of the City of Warsaw, in the State of Missouri, for regulating and governing fuel gas systems and gas-fired appliances as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fuel Gas Code on file in the office of the City of Warsaw, Missouri, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.

B. The following sections are hereby revised:

1. Section 101.1. City of Warsaw, Missouri.

2. Section 106.6.2. Based on the City of Warsaw, Missouri, building permit fees.

3. Section 106.6.3. Zero percent (0%); one-hundred percent (100%).

Section 500.036 International Property Maintenance Code Adoption.

A. The 2015 Edition of the International Property Maintenance Code is adopted.

B. Penalty Provisions. Any firm, association, person, partnership, or corporation or any agent thereof, who violates any provisions of this Article or the Building Code adopted herein, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, upon the conviction of which, shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or be imprisoned for not more than ninety (90) days, or both. Each day during which such violation shall continue to exist is a separate offense.

Section 500.037 International Existing Building Code Adoption.

A. The 2015 Edition of the International Existing Building Code is adopted.

B. Penalty Provisions. Any firm, association, person, partnership, or corporation or any agent thereof, who violates any provisions of this Article or the Building Code adopted herein, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, upon the conviction of which, shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or be imprisoned for not more than ninety (90) days, or both. Each day during which such violation shall continue to exist is a separate offense.
