There is hereby created the separate office of Receiver of Taxes
and Assessments, having those powers and obligations as set forth
more fully in Town Law § 37 as presently enacted and as
subsequently amended from time to time.
The Office of Receiver of Taxes and Assessments shall be appointive
and shall have a term of two years.
The commencement date of the first term of office of the Receiver
of Taxes and Assessments shall be January 1, 1988.
The Town Clerk of the Town of Pine Plains shall cease all functions
relative to the collection of taxes previously assumed by her on December
31, 1987.
