Town of Middleborough, MA Article III Collection of Water and Wastewater Bills

§ 27-3 Authority to collect.

The Town Treasurer and Collector of Taxes shall collect, under the title of "Town Collector," all accounts due the Town with respect to the Water Department and Wastewater Department.

§ 27-4 Accounts covered.

The accounts collected under § 27-3 of this bylaw shall include without limitation water and sewer rates and charges, repairs, renewals, construction and any and all other accounts due to the Town which are generated by the Water Department or Wastewater Department.

§ 27-5 Statutory authority.

This bylaw is adopted pursuant to MGL c. 41, § 38A, as amended.

§ 27-6 Effective date.

The effective date of this bylaw shall be July 1, 1984, or as soon thereafter that the bylaw becomes effective pursuant to applicable provisions of the General Laws.
