The Board of Selectmen shall appoint an Inspector of Wires if the office is vacant. The Board of Selectmen may appoint an Assistant Inspector of Wires.

An appointment pursuant to § 44-4 of this bylaw shall be for such term as the Selectmen shall determine.
All appointees hereunder shall receive such compensation for services as the Board of Selectmen shall fix; subject, however, to appropriation.
All appointees hereunder shall be subject to the supervision of the Town Manager.
All appointees hereunder shall hold office at the will of the Selectmen, who may remove appointees.
Appointments pursuant to § 44-4 of this bylaw shall be pursuant to MGL c. 166, as amended.
