1. 
The following rules and regulations are hereby established for the management and protection of the park, recreational, athletic areas , playground areas, and all public open spaces located in the Borough of Bristol and owned by the Borough of Bristol or Bristol Borough Recreation Authority:
A. 
The park, recreation and athletic areas, including the Jefferson Avenue Recreational Complex and all public open spaces, shall be open daily to the public between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. At 10:00 p.m., all activities in the said area shall cease and all persons in the area shall leave immediately.
B. 
No person, other than authorized employees of the Borough, the Recreation Director or the Recreation Authority, shall be permitted in the above mentioned areas at any time between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on the following morning unless specifically authorized to by said agencies.
C. 
All playgrounds shall be restricted to use by children 12 years of age or younger.
D. 
All playgrounds shall be open from dawn to dusk.
E. 
No person shall injure, deface, remove, cut or damage any of the trees, plants, shrubs, turf, buildings, structures or fixtures therein or any other property of the Borough located within the said park, recreational, playground and athletic areas, and all public open spaces.
F. 
No person shall remove any bench, seat, or table from the park, playground, recreational and athletic areas, and all public open spaces, or change location thereof without permission from the Borough Manager or the Borough Inspector.
G. 
No person shall dispose of any waste or garbage in the park, playground, recreational and athletic areas, and all public open spaces, except in receptacles designated for the respective purpose. All persons using the park shall dispose of all waste and garbage left by them in such proper receptacles.
H. 
No person shall injure, deface or destroy any notice, sign, rule or regulation posted at any place in the said park, playground, recreational and athletic areas and all public open spaces by authority of the Borough, the Recreation Director or the Recreation Authority. Nor shall any person post at any place within the said areas, any notice or placard other than by authority of the Borough, Recreation Director or the Recreation Authority.
I. 
No person shall possess or consume any alcoholic beverages at any location within the park, playground, recreational and athletic areas, and all public open spaces.
J. 
No person shall operate any motor vehicle in any park, playground, recreational or athletic area, and all public open spaces, other than in authorized parking areas or unless specifically authorized by Borough officials.
K. 
No person shall engage in smoking in the recreational, athletic and playground areas, and all public open spaces, located in the Borough of Bristol and owned by the Borough of Bristol or the Bristol Borough Recreational Authority. "Smoking" shall be defined as the carrying by a person of a lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe, or other lighted smoking device. Use of vapor cigarette products, or e-cigarette products, shall not be considered "smoking" for purposes of this subsection.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a magisterial district judge in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues or each section of this Part which shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.

The following rules and regulations are hereby established for the management and protection of the access pier and docks located in the Borough of Bristol, and owned by the Borough of Bristol:
A. 
The access pier shall be open daily to the public. The docks shall be opened to boaters only between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., May through October; at all other times, including November through April, the docks shall be closed. No person, other than authorized employees of the Borough, shall be permitted on the docks when closed.
B. 
There shall be no repairs, loitering, or fishing on the docks at any time.
C. 
No person under the age of 14 shall be permitted on the docks, unless accompanied by an adult.
D. 
There shall be no swimming, personal watercraft, or alcohol on the docks.
E. 
For the access pier, there shall be no swimming, loitering, alcohol, smoking, loud music or noise, bikes, skateboards, or jumping from the pier.
F. 
Designated areas of the access pier shall be permitted for fishing, with no bait cutting on the pier.
G. 
No person shall injure, deface, or destroy any notice, sign, rule or regulation posted at any place on the access pier or docks by the Borough of Bristol; nor should any person post within the said area any notice or plaque other than by authority of the Borough of Bristol.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of § 16-103, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a Magisterial District Judge in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of § 16-103 continues or each subsection of § 16-103 which shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.
