[Adopted as Ch. 6, Art. 3, §§ 6-337 through 6-340, of the 1976 Code]
It shall be unlawful for any person to assault or threaten any other person or persons. (Neb. RS 28-308 through 28-310)
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons within the municipality to intentionally provoke or attempt to provoke an assault upon himself or another by the uttering of insulting words, cursing and swearing, or to use slander against any other person. Conviction of a violation of this section shall be punishable in a manner consistent with Neb. RS 28-310. (Neb. RS 28-106, 28-310)

It is hereby declared unlawful for any person within the corporate limits of this municipality to assault or threaten another in a menacing manner or strike or injure another.
It shall be unlawful for any person to assault, threaten, strike or injure any other person or persons. (Neb. RS 28-310)
Except as otherwise provided herein, any person who violates the prohibitions or provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a violation. The penalty for such violation shall be an amount not to exceed $500 for any one offense, recoverable with costs, and in default of said payment the offender shall stand committed to the County Jail until such fine and costs are paid. Each period of 24 hours during or on which a violation occurs or continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
