The Land Use, Development and Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Waterford, adopted August 13, 1997 by Ordinance No. 97-14, as amended, as revised and codified by General Code and numbered as Chapter 176, is hereby approved, adopted, ordained and enacted as the Land Use, Development and Zoning Ordinance of the Township of Waterford.
A.
In compiling and preparing the Land Use, Development and Zoning legislation
for adoption and revision as part of the Code pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40:49-4, certain grammatical changes and other minor changes were
made in one or more of said ordinances. It is the intention of the
Township Committee that all such changes be adopted as part of the
Code as if the ordinances so changed had been previously formally
amended to read as such.
B.
In addition, the following changes, amendments or revisions are made
herewith, to become effective upon the effective date of this ordinance
as set forth in Schedule A attached hereto and made a part hereof
(chapter and section number references are to the Ordinances as they
have been renumbered and appear in the Code).[1]

Nomenclature changes: Throughout Chapter 176, Land Use, Development and Zoning, the following nomenclature changes have been made:

Throughout the Code, statutory references have been updated or revised
to the current citation. Consolidated (N.J.S.A.) references have been
added to unconsolidated (P.L.) where appropriate.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances which are inconsistent
herewith are repealed to the extent of such inconsistencies.
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or invalid,
such decision shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance.
Copies of Chapter 176, Land Use, Development and Zoning, shall be placed on file for public examination and acquisition at the Township Clerk's Office during regular business hours, and, upon final passage of Chapter 176, Land Use, Development and Zoning, copies shall be made available to the public.
