A. 
The participating municipalities are Spring Grove Borough and New Salem Borough.
B. 
The purpose and objective of this article and the agreement entered into in connection therewith is to authorize Spring Grove Borough to provide maintenance services for the sanitary sewerage collection system, including all labor and equipment to do so, to the Borough of New Salem. A true and correct copy of the intergovernmental agreement is incorporated herein and attached hereto as Exhibit A.[1]

C. 
The term of the agreement is set forth in the attached intergovernmental agreement.
D. 
The manner and extent of payment for services provided by the agreement is that the Borough of New Salem shall pay the costs as set forth in the agreement, and the funds to pay the costs shall come from the sewer fund as normal and usual budgeted amounts for such matters.
The Secretary and President or Vice President of the Borough Council are authorized to execute and deliver the attached intergovernmental agreement.
Amendments to this agreement may be enacted by resolution of each Borough.
