As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PERSON
Includes a natural person of either sex, a partnership, firm, unincorporated association, or corporation and shall also include his, her, or its officers, servants, agents, and employees.
SERVICE STATION or GASOLINE STATION
Includes any person, as heretofore defined in this article, his, her, or its officers, servants, agents and employees.[1]

It shall be unlawful for any person, service station or gasoline station, his, her, or its officers, servants, agents, or employees, as defined in this article, to service, or permit to be serviced, any motor vehicle, or other vehicle, on any part of the sidewalks of Borough of Kittanning, or to repair or wash such motor vehicle, or other vehicle or to permit the same to be repaired or washed, on any part of said sidewalks.
It shall be unlawful for any person, service or gasoline station, as defined in this article, to permit any water, oil, gasoline, debris, or any substance used by such person, or service or gasoline station, or drained from any motor vehicle, or other vehicle, dripping or dropping therefrom, to drain, or be, upon any part of the sidewalks of the Borough of Kittanning.

Any person, or any service or gasoline station, or his, her or its servants, agents officers or employees, violating any provision of this article, shall, for every such violation, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
The continued violation of this article, or any part or parts of the same, either individual parts, or in combination, during or within a period of 15 consecutive days, is hereby declared to be a public nuisance, and the Borough of Kittanning, its proper agents and officers, are hereby legally authorized to proceed by bill in equity, or by proper criminal proceedings, to abate such public nuisance; the civil and criminal remedies, provided in this section, being in addition to all of the other remedies, civil or criminal, hereinbefore provided for, in any part of this article.
