In addition to the authority and duties imposed on the City
Clerk by the Third Class City Code, the City Clerk shall be responsible
for the following:
(a)
Serves as Chief Administrative Officer and as an administrative assistant
to Council;
(b)
Serves as Secretary to the Board of Health;
(c)
Serves as liaison between the public and Council; and for Council
between the City Solicitor and all departments of the City;
(d)
Administers City payroll and employee insurances and benefits;
(e)
Administers all other insurance coverage held by the City;
(f)
Administers rental of City properties;
(g)
Attests any document requiring the City seal.
