City of Lake Waukomis, MO Article IV Design Standards for Installation of Water Meters

Section 700.150 Design Standards.

A. Apply to the City for water meter.

B. Material.

1. McDonald #708 five-eights-inch-by-three-quarter-inch yoke.

2. Eighteen-inch-by-forty-two-inch plastic meter pit.

3. Locking ring and cover.

C. Copper from main to meter pit and four (4) feet outside pit.

D. Meter will be eighteen (18) inches to twenty-one (21) inches down from lid.

E. Ring buried and lid to be at ground level.

F. Meter pit to be installed at property line on owner's property.

G. Inspection before backfill: call City office at 816-741-2079.

H. City will supply meter at current market price.

I. Mains are six-inch cast iron.
