The Mayor and Commissioners of Westernport and the Board of
County Commissioners of Allegany County, Maryland, agree as follows:
A.
That Allegany
County be and is hereby granted authority and jurisdiction to enforce
the Floodplain Management Ordinance within the corporate limits of
Westernport to the same extent and for the same purposes as exercised
by the county outside the limits of the municipalities located in
Allegany County, Maryland.
B.
That the
Floodplain Management Ordinance previously adopted by the Board of
County Commissioners of Allegany County, Maryland (Allegany County
Code § 325-1 et seq.), be and is hereby confirmed to be
the Floodplain Management Ordinance applicable within the corporate
limits of Westernport.
