All of the fees are annual fees and when paid shall cover only the balance of the calendar year during which the same are so paid or payable, unless otherwise herein provided. There shall be no apportionment or abatement of the fee for any license granted after the first day of January in any year.

Whenever pursuant to the provisions of this code a temporary license is required and no specific fee is established, the fee shall be $10.
No fee for any license issued pursuant to the provisions of this code shall be required of any person declared by state law to be exempt from the payment of any such fee.

The Registrar will supply information concerning marriage licenses, births, deaths, burials and other matters related to vital statistics, including certified copies of any such documents, upon payment of $10 for the first copy of any document, and $5 for each additional copy of the same document, as permitted by the State Registrar of Vital Statistics.
Dog licenses shall be issued according to law, and the respective fees paid to the Borough of Demarest as prescribed by said law.
