The Borough Council may, by resolution adopted from time to time, establish a schedule of fees as shall be necessary to cover the costs associated with the collection of Borough taxes.

The Borough Council recognizes that from time to time the elected Borough Tax Collector is requested to provide services related to the certification of payment of real estate taxes due to the Borough.

The Borough Council recognizes that the elected Borough Tax Collector has no statutory or other duty to provide such services related to the certification of the payment of real estate taxes due to the Borough when requested, that said certifications are customarily provided as a convenience to residents and businesses of the Borough, those individuals and companies acquiring real estate in the Borough, title companies, title abstractors, attorneys, mortgage companies and other similar financial/lending institutions.
3. 
The Borough Council hereby authorizes the elected Borough Tax Collector to charge a fee in an amount established from time to time by Resolution of the Borough Council for his or her services related to real estate tax certifications.
