A.Â
No person shall operate any vehicle or conveyance at a rate of speed
greater than that posted upon the speed limit signs erected along
the rights-of-way within the Village Park. In the absence of signs,
no one shall exceed a speed in excess of 10 miles per hour, nor in
all events a greater speed than is reasonable and proper with regard
to traffic conditions and the use of the roads, or which endangers
the safety of any personal property.
As a result of the narrowness of the Village streets and a traffic
investigation study conducted on behalf of the Village in 2008, no
person shall operate any vehicle on a street within the Village at
a rate of speed greater than 25 miles per hour, except on the following
streets: North Main Street, Oakwood Street, Route 150 and any street
located within the Village Park.
No person shall operate any vehicle on North Main Street at
a rate of speed greater than 30 miles per hour.
