The Council of the Borough of Bristol, County of Bucks, Pennsylvania, constituting the "Municipal Authority" of said Borough as defined in the Act of Assembly known as the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 (the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended and supplemented) hereby signifies its intention to organize an Authority under the provisions of said Act.

The name of the proposed Authority is Bristol Borough Recreation Authority. In pursuance of said intention, the Articles of Incorporation of said Authority are hereby approved and adopted in the following form:
ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
Bristol Borough Recreation Authority
To the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
In compliance with the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 (the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended and supplemented), the Borough of Bristol, County of Bucks, Pennsylvania, pursuant to an ordinance duly enacted by the Borough Council of said Borough, authorizing and directing the formation of an Authority under said Act, does hereby certify:
(a)
The name of the Authority shall be "Bristol Borough Recreation Authority."
(b)
The said Authority is formed under the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945.
(c)
No other Authority has been organized under the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 or under the Act approved June 28, 1935, P.L. 463, or is in existence in and for the said Borough of Bristol, except for the Bristol Borough Marina Authority, the Articles of Incorporation with respect thereto having been approved by the Secretary of the Commonwealth on July 11, 1962.
(d)
The name of the incorporating municipality is the Borough of Bristol, County of Bucks, Pennsylvania, and the names and addresses of its municipal authorities are as follows: (Here followed the names, addresses and titles of the principal officers of the Borough.)
(e)
The names, addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of said Authority are as follows: (Here followed the names, addresses and terms of office of the first Authority Board members.)
The terms of office of the first members of the Board of said Authority shall commence on the date of appointment and shall be computed from the first day of January, 1970.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Borough of Bristol, County of Bucks, Pennsylvania, has caused these Articles of Incorporation to be duly executed on behalf of said Authority by its proper officers thereunto duly authorized and under its municipal seal this 12th day of May, 1969.

On this 12th day of May, 1969, before me a Notary Public in and for said Commonwealth, personally appeared the above named John M. Rodgers, William H. Fallon, and Angelo Cordisco, who stated that their official positions in the Borough of Bristol, County of Bucks, Pennsylvania, are, respectively, the Mayor, President of Borough Council and Secretary of said Borough, and who, in due form of law, acknowledged the foregoing Articles of Incorporation to be the act and deed of said Borough of Bristol for the purposes therein specified.

The first members of the Board of said Authority, named in the aforesaid Articles of Incorporation, are hereby specifically appointed members of said Board for the terms of office set after their respective names, which terms shall commence on the date of appointment and shall be computed from the first day of January, 1970.

The first project to be undertaken by said Authority shall be the improving, maintaining and operating, leasing in the capacity of lessee, as and for a public park, recreation grounds and facilities and as public playgrounds, those tracts of ground presently owned by the Borough and situate in the vicinity of Jefferson Avenue, Prospect Street and Washington Street, known as Grundy Park; and said Authority shall not undertake any other project or projects unless specifically authorized so to do by ordinance duly enacted by the Council of the Borough of Bristol.

The Council of the Borough of Bristol hereby authorizes the Bristol Borough Recreation Authority in the capacity of lessee to improve, maintain and operate the tennis court facility located on the East side of Jefferson Avenue adjacent to Trenton Avenue and the Delaware canal being composed of approximately 3.5 acres and known as Bucks County Tax Parcel No. 4-10-201.
3. 
The Bristol Borough Recreation Authority is hereby designated to assume the former responsibility of the Bristol Borough Recreation Board including, inter alia, the management of all activities in regard to football, soccer, baseball, basketball and softball activities.

The time period for the existence of the Bristol Borough Recreation Authority is hereby extended for an additional ten-year period from June 6, 2019 until June 6, 2029.

The membership of the Bristol Borough Recreation Board is hereby increased from five members to seven members. The two new Board members shall serve as follows: one member shall serve for one year from the first Monday in January next succeeding his or her appointment and the second additional member shall serve for two years from the first Monday of January next succeeding his or her appointment.
