A. 
Signs.
(1) 
The use of signs, such as, but not limited to, advertising flags, banners as well as movable, portable and/or freestanding signs by peddlers, solicitors and transient merchants is prohibited.
(2) 
Exception(s): signs painted on or affixed to a vehicle. It shall be lawful for a peddler, solicitor and transient merchant to use signs that are painted on or affixed to a vehicle licensed pursuant to this chapter, provided that the same do not exceed the dimensions of the vehicle on which they are placed and such vehicle can be legally driven with the sign affixed. Such signs shall be exempt from the applicable provisions of Chapter 350, Zoning.
B. 
Displays. No peddler, solicitor and transient merchant shall display goods, wares or merchandise for sale other than on his/her person or in the vehicle for which he/she is licensed pursuant to this chapter. Displays of goods, wares or merchandise on the ground or on movable structures or stands outside such vehicle are prohibited. Use of tables, seats or freestanding counters is prohibited.
C. 
Awning or umbrella. Only one awning or umbrella that is mounted on a vehicle licensed pursuant to this chapter is permitted.
