Pursuant to authority granted the Town Council by Section 601
of the Town Charter, the Town Council appoints a Building Official,
Zoning Enforcement Official, Electrical Inspector, Deputy Electrical
Inspector, and a Plumbing and Mechanical Inspector. Said officials
shall not be entitled to any benefits in connection with their respective
positions; however, they shall be paid the following compensation,
provided in no case shall any official receive more than $2,000 from
the issuance of any single permit:
A.
The Building Official shall receive 50% of the fee collected for
each building permit issued by the Town.
B.
The Zoning Official shall receive 25% of the fee collected for each
building permit issued by the Town.
C.
The Plumbing and Mechanical Inspector shall receive 100% of the fee
collected for each plumbing or maintenance permit issued by the Town.
