All owners and/or tenants of industrial, commercial, and nonresidential buildings within the Borough of Bristol shall every three years file and application for and obtain a maintenance, safety and fire inspection permit from the code enforcement official of the Borough of Bristol.

All violations of an applicable code or ordinance discovered as a result of the triennial maintenance, safety, and fire inspection shall be reported to the owners and tenant by the Code Enforcement Officer. Failure to correct all deficiencies shall be a violation of this Part.

Inspection fees for industrial and commercial fire inspection and high hazard use group inspection shall be in an amount as established, from time to time, by resolution of Borough Council.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a Magisterial District Judge in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs, or a minimum of $100 plus costs, and in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues or each section of this Part which shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.
