The Township Sewage Enforcement Officer duly appointed by the
Board of Supervisors is authorized to issue permits approving sewage
disposal systems in the Township.
No person shall make or cause to be made connection of his property
with a private or public sewer system until he has fulfilled all the
following conditions:
A. He shall notify the Township Sewage Enforcement Officer of his desire
and intention to make such connection either with private or public
sewage systems.
B. He shall obtain a permit to make said connection as provided by law
before erecting any property needing sewage facilities.
C. He shall give the Township Sewage Enforcement Officer 48 hours' notice
of the time when such connection shall be made on such system, in
order that the Township Sewage Enforcement Officer can supervise the
work on said system and make the necessary inspection as required
by law.
D. He shall pay such connection fee or charges as shall be required
by the rules and regulations of North Newton Township.
E. He shall,
at his expense, install all or any part of the sewage equipment and
fixtures necessary to connect his property as required by law.
In all other respects, this article is passed, as provided by
the state law governing the installation of a private sewage system
and all Township rules and regulations governing the installation
of a private sewage system in the Township.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall,
upon conviction thereof before any Magisterial District Judge, be
sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000. Each violation shall
constitute a separate offense, for which a summary conviction may
be sought.
