[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Prescott 9-14-2015 by Ord. No. 12-15. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Pursuant to § 61.35 Wis. Stats. and §§ 62.23(2)
and (3), Wis. Stats., the City of Prescott is authorized to prepare,
amend, and adopt a comprehensive plan as defined in § 66.1001(1)(a)
and § 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats.
The Plan Commission of the City of Prescott, in compliance with
§ 66.1001(4)(b), Wis. Stats., by a majority vote recorded
in the official minutes dated August 31, 2015, has adopted a resolution
recommending to the City Board the adoption of the document entitled
City of Prescott Comprehensive Plan 2015 through 2035 containing all
of the elements specified in § 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats.
The City held a public hearing on August 31, 2015, regarding
this ordinance, in compliance with the requirements of § 66.1001(4)(d),
Wis. Stats.
The Common Council of the City of Prescott, Wisconsin, does,
by enactment of this ordinance, formally adopt the document entitled,
City of Prescott Comprehensive Plan 2015 through 2035 pursuant to
§ 66.1001(4)(c), Wis. Stats.
This chapter shall take effect upon passage by a majority vote
of the members-elect of the Common Council and publication as required
by law.
The Common Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Administrator
to provide copies of the amended Comprehensive Plan as adopted herein
to governmental bodies and other persons as required in § 66.1001(4)(b),
Wis. Stats.
