Any person, persons, firm, copartnership or
corporation occupying any store, shop or office, residence, or property
on either side of any street in the City shall be required to keep
the sidewalks in front of and along the side of the premises occupied
by them free from obstructions of the said sidewalk.

It shall be unlawful for any person to place any wagons, plows, cultivators, or other agricultural implements or machinery, boxes, barrels, or other obstruction on any street or alley in this City. Anyone violating the provisions of this Section shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined as set out in Section
100.220 of this Code, and each day such obstruction shall remain on such street or alley shall be deemed a separate and distinct violation. Provided, however, that any person erecting any building may occupy one-half (1/2) of any street or alley adjacent to said building for building material and for the use of workmen on said building during the time of the erection of the same, and at the completion of said building shall remove all building material, trash, and rubbish and leave the street or alley in good condition under the penalty provided in this Section.

Any person who shall dig or cause to be dug any ditch, hole or trench on any public street, alley, or lot of ground within the City limits shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and, upon conviction thereof, be fined as set out in Section
100.220 of this Code. Provided, however, that owner and occupiers of premises shall be permitted to ditch around or through their own premises without being guilty of a violation of this Section.

A. All persons, firms, or corporations occupying stores,
shops, or offices of any kind on any street or alley in this City
are prohibited from sweeping or throwing anything into any ditch or
drain on said streets or alley, and all persons, firms, or corporations
owning or occupying any store, shop, or office shall be required to
keep the ditches or drains in front of or alongside of the building
owned or occupied by them clear of all debris of all kinds, or if
any building be unoccupied, then the owner or agent shall be required
to keep said ditches or drains clear of all debris of all kinds.
B. Any person, firm or corporation violating any part of Subsection
(A) shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and, upon conviction thereof, be fined as set out in Section
100.220 of this Code, and every twenty-four (24) hours that such debris is allowed to remain in such ditch or drain shall be deemed a separate and distinct violation.

No cloth or canvas awning shall be erected or maintained in this City any part of which shall hang or be placed at a height of less than eight (8) feet above the sidewalk over which the same extends. Any person violating the provisions of this Section shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and, upon conviction thereof, be fined as set out in Section
100.220 of this Code, and every day that such awning shall be maintained contrary to the provisions of this Section shall be deemed a separate offense.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to move or roll upon any sidewalk in this City any iron safe, loaded truck, or wheelbarrow, or any other heavy article without first placing a plank not less than two (2) inches thick and not less than eight (8) inches wide under the wheels or articles moved. Any person violating this Section shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and, upon conviction thereof, be fined as set out in Section
100.220 of this Code.

Any person who shall suffer any filth or unclean water or any foul or nauseous liquid or foul or nauseous substance of any kind whatever to escape from his premises into or upon any adjacent ground or into any street, gutter, pavement or other public place shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and, upon conviction, be fined as set out in Section
100.220 of this Code.
