A Police Department is hereby established in and for the Borough
of Renovo.

Such police officers and classifications of police officers
as Council may from time to time appoint and designate shall constitute
the Police Department. The number of persons to serve on the police
force on a full-time and/or a part-time basis, and the compensation
of each, shall be as determined by the Council from time to time.

Nothing in this Part shall affect the authority of the Mayor
to appoint special policemen during emergencies.
