1. 
There shall be imposed a ten-ton weight limit on all Borough streets, which shall take effect when properly signed at the beginning and end of each street as required by law. No vehicle weighing 10 tons or more shall driven, operated, parked and/or transported over any Borough street.
2. 
All overweight hauling for local deliveries as defined by the regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation shall be exempt from the established weight limit.
3. 
Any overweight hauling activity to occur on any Borough street shall be considered for bonding under the regulations then in effect by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for such overweight hauling activities on state roadways.
4. 
Anyone hauling on Renovo Borough streets is hereby deemed to give consent to have their vehicle taken to the nearest certified scale facility for the purpose of determining the applicable weight of said vehicle.
5. 
The driver and/or owners of any overweight vehicle shall be jointly and severally responsible for the cost of said transportation of the vehicle and use of the scales to weight the vehicle in question.
6. 
If a driver of a vehicle fails or refuses to transport their vehicle to a weight scale for a determination of the weight of the vehicle, then the said driver shall be found to be in violation of this chapter and be subject to the penalties set forth herein.

1. 
Any violations in the terms/conditions of this Part shall be punishable by a fine of $500 or such greater amounts as would be imposed under the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation regulations for overweight hauling activities on state highways.
2. 
Each trip a vehicle makes over the Renovo Borough streets shall constitute a separate offense.
