All residents of the Township shall contract with a registered municipal waste collector to have all municipal waste, recyclable materials, and yard waste generated at the premises occupied by such resident removed and deposited in a permitted landfill as provided for in Article III, Requirements for Municipal Waste and Recycling Collectors, of this chapter, as amended.
A. 
Whenever requested by the Township, the owner of record of any real estate located within the Township shall present proof, within 72 hours of said request, that the resident of said real estate has a current contract with a municipal waste collector to dispose of municipal waste, recyclable materials, and yard waste generated on the premises in compliance with the minimum collection standards provided for in Article III, Requirements for Municipal Waste and Recycling Collectors, of this chapter, as amended.
B. 
Whenever requested by the Township, any municipal waste collector duly registered pursuant to the provisions of Article III, Requirements for Municipal Waste and Recycling Collectors, of this chapter, as amended, shall, within 72 hours of said request, advise the Township as to whether the resident of any real estate located within the Township has a current contract for municipal waste, recyclable materials, and yard waste disposal with said municipal waste collector.
Any resident of the Township may decide to transport his or her own municipal waste, recyclable materials, and yard waste generated on the premises to a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania-designated facility in compliance with the minimum collection standards provided for in for in Article III, Requirements for Municipal Waste and Recycling Collectors, of this chapter, as amended. Should a resident decide to opt out under this section, the resident shall retain proof/documentation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania-designated disposal facility showing that the resident has made, at minimum, deposits in compliance with the minimum collection standards provided for in for in Article III, Requirements for Municipal Waste and Recycling Collectors, of this chapter, as amended. The required documentation shall be retained for at least two years. Whenever requested by the Township, the owner of record of any real estate located within the Township for which a resident opted out under this section shall present the aforementioned proof/documentation, within 72 hours of said request.
