The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Union hereby approves entering into the Sewer Service Agreement with Amity Township and the Union Township Municipal Authority, finalized on November 17, 2008, a copy of which is on file in the offices of the Township of Union, and is incorporated herein by reference, which became effective upon the passage of Union Township Ordinance 2010-02 on February 15, 2010, and which was fully executed by all parties as of March 15, 2010.
The purpose of the Intergovernmental Sewer Service Agreement is to allow the conveyance of sewage from the Union Township Municipal Authority's sewer system to the wastewater treatment facility of Amity Township and to provide for the rules and regulations related thereto.
All actions of the Supervisors, and any officer, agent or other representative of the Township, taken in furtherance of the preparation and approval of the Sewer Service Agreement, finalized on November 17, 2008, effective February 15, 2010, and fully executed as of March 15, 2010, are hereby ratified, authorized and approved in all respects.
All findings and determinations required under the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Act, 53 Pa.C.S.A. § 2301 et seq., are set forth in the Sewer Service Agreement and in the provisions of this article.
