No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and having regard to the actual and potential hazards then existing, nor at a speed greater than will permit the driver to bring his vehicle to a stop within the assured clear distance ahead. Consistent with the foregoing, every person shall drive at a safe and appropriate speed when approaching and crossing an intersection or railroad grade crossing, when approaching and going around a curve, when approaching a hill crest, when traveling upon any narrow or winding roadway and when special hazards exist with respect to pedestrians or other traffic or by reason of weather or highway conditions.
A. 
Maximum speed limits are established on portions of specified streets, as follows, and it shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle on any part of a street where a maximum speed limit applies, at a higher speed than the maximum prescribed for that part of the street:

Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $35. Any person exceeding the maximum speed limit by more than five miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of $2 per mile for each mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.
A. 
At the following locations, traffic signals, as indicated below, shall be erected (or are ratified if previously erected), and traffic at those locations shall be directed by those signals:

Any driver of a vehicle who disobeys the directions of any traffic signal shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.

A. 
The following intersections are established as stop intersections, and official stop signs shall be erected (or are ratified if previously erected) in such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named street (the intersecting or through street) on the first-named street (the stop street) in the direction or directions indicated for that intersection. Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection on the first-named or stop street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(b) of the Vehicle Code, and shall not proceed into or across the second-named or intersecting or through street, until he has followed all applicable requirements of that section of the law.

A. 
The following intersections are established as yield intersections, and official yield signs shall be erected (or are ratified if previously erected) in such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named street (the through street) on the first-named street (the yield street) in the direction or directions indicated for that intersection. Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection on the first-named or yield street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall slow down or stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(c) of the Vehicle Code, and then yield the right-of-way as required by that subsection of the Vehicle Code.

B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile on any highway, street or road in the Township other than as provided above, provided nothing in this section shall prohibit any person from operating a snowmobile on any other street in the Township:
(1) 
As authorized by Section 7721 of the Vehicle Code for emergency and bridge crossings and for direct crossing of streets or two-lane highways; or
(2) 
For special snowmobile events where authorized in advance and the street is blocked off as provided in Section 7723 of the Vehicle Code. Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in Section 7752(a) of the Vehicle Code.
