It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit or permit to be deposited any snow or ice whatsoever upon any public roadway dedicated and accepted by the Township and/or maintained by the Township. The prohibition includes, but is not limited to, persons removing snow or ice from their sidewalks, yards, driveways, or private roads, and depositing the same onto or along any public roadway. The prohibition shall also include the plowing or pushing of snow or ice across any public roadway. It shall be further prohibited and shall be illegal for any person to throw or pile any snow or ice around any fire hydrant.
Any person who violates or permits a violation of this article shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding brought before a Magisterial District Justice, be guilty of a summary offence and shall be punishable consistent with the general penalties provisions contained in § 1-19 of the Code of Union Township.
