The Notice of Municipal Claim and Intent to Impose or Assess Attorneys' Fees and the Schedule of Attorneys' Fees and Costs for the Township of Carroll is hereby set forth and adopted by the Township entirely.
Notice of Municipal Claim and Intent to Impose or Assess Attorneys' Fees
You have a delinquent account payable to the Township of Carroll in the amount of $ ________ for _____________________________________ (describe basis for the indebtedness). You are hereby notified that if you do not pay the balance of the delinquent account in full within 30 days from service of this notice, the Township of Carroll will assign collection of this account to the Township Solicitor for collection. Once this matter is turned over to the Township Solicitor, you will be required to pay all costs and attorney fees incurred in the collection of the account. Furthermore, your failure to pay the principal balance of the account, together with applicable interest and costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees, may result in a lien being entered against your property, resulting in a possible Sheriff's Sale. If you wish to avoid paying attorneys' fees and other costs of collect, you must pay your account in full within 30 days from the date you are served with this notice.

The schedule of attorneys' fees and costs shall be set by a resolution of the Board of Supervisors at their annual reorganization meeting as necessary and any such amendment shall not repeal, supersede or invalidate any other part of this chapter which shall otherwise remain in full force and effect. In addition to the charges listed in such schedule, you will be required to pay all additional fees incurred by the Township and the Township's Solicitor in collecting the account. These fees may include, without limitation, postage fees, copying costs, Sheriff's fees for service of process, etc.
