Pursuant to Sections 15 and 17 of the Uniform Fire Safety Act,
any person aggrieved by any action of the local enforcing agency shall
have the right to appeal to the Bergen County Construction Board of
Appeals.
All other ordinances of the Borough of Cresskill which are in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
The provisions of this chapter are severable and if any sentence,
section or other part of this chapter should be found to be invalid
such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions and the
remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. In the
event any part or provision of this chapter is held to be illegal
or void, this shall not have the effect of making void or illegal
any of the other parts or provisions thereof, which are determined
to be legal; and it shall be presumed that this chapter would have
been passed without such illegal or invalid parts or provisions. Any
invalid part of this chapter shall be segregated from the remainder
of this chapter by the court holding such part invalid, and the remainder
shall remain effective.
This chapter shall take effect upon final adoption and publication
of notice of adoption as required by law.
