The Town does hereby join with such of the towns and cities
within its planning region as defined by the Director of the Office
of State Planning, as may enact a similar ordinance, to create a regional
council of elected officials as said council is defined by C.G.S.
§ 4-124i.
The representative to the regional council shall be the First
Selectman.

The regional council shall have such powers, purposes, responsibilities
and duties as stated in the General Statutes of Connecticut.
