1. 
Collection of recyclable materials pursuant to this section shall be made every week except in cases where the collection day falls on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. Collection shall occur in accordance with a schedule publicly advertised by the Township and/or contractor.
2. 
All residents of the Township within the area served by the curbside program established pursuant to this section shall source separate all designated recyclables and place them at designated pickup points in the manner described in this Part and on the date specified for collection by the schedule established by the Township.
3. 
The schedule, which shall proceed upon public notice by the Township Manager, shall direct recyclables to be collected on each day of each week in accordance with the weekly pick-up schedule.
4. 
All commercial and institutional establishments that currently utilize the existing curbside refuse collection program are required to separate all designated recyclables. Those commercial establishments who contract privately and individually for recycling/refuse collection are required to recycle materials as designated by this Part. All commercial or institutional establishments that do not utilize the Township's curbside program are required to provide written documentation as to the type and weight of materials recycled annually. Reports are due to the Township on a form provided by the Township no later than January 15 of each year.

Designated recyclables for the curbside program established pursuant to this section shall consist of the following materials:
A. 
Cardboard boxes.
B. 
Pizza boxes.
C. 
Food boxes (i.e., cereal and jello boxes).
D. 
Paper towel and toiler paper rolls.
E. 
Paperboard packaging (i.e., tissues boxes).
F. 
Office paper (any color).
G. 
Shredded paper.
H. 
Newspaper and inserts.
I. 
Magazines and catalogs.
J. 
Junk mail and envelopes.
K. 
Paper bags.
L. 
Phone books.
M. 
Plastic #1 - #7 containers and bottles with necks smaller than their bases.
N. 
Clear, brown and green glass food and beverage containers.
O. 
Aluminum beverage cans.
P. 
Steel food and beverage cans.
Q. 
Aerosol cans.
6. 
These materials are not required to be source separated in a commingled container provided by the Township for collection by the exclusive contractor designated by the Township. Provided, however, that newspapers, excluding magazines, books, or colored slick newspaper inserts, shall be either tied in a bundle or placed in a paper grocery bag and shall be placed next to the recyclable container.
