The Town Board of the Town of Tusten hereby establishes the position of Town Bookkeeper, which position shall be by appointment of the Town Board.

This article is adopted pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law § 10(1)(ii)(d)(3) and supersedes Town Law § 29(15).
The Bookkeeper shall be subject to and bonded in the same manner as is currently applied to the Supervisor, Board members and Town Clerk of the Town of Tusten.
The duties of the Bookkeeper, in addition to the normal and customary duties of a town bookkeeper, shall be designated by resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Tusten.
