As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
MOTOR VEHICLE
Includes all vehicles, whether of the passenger, omnibus or commercial type, and shall also include all trailers for attachment thereto, whether of the utility, commercial or passenger type.
PARKING
Has the meaning prescribed and set forth by § 129 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.

PERSON
Includes an individual, society, club, firm, partnership, corporation or association of persons; and the singular number shall include the plural number.
A. 
The parking of motor vehicles is prohibited or restricted in the following locations as noted in the table below:

Parking prohibited daily, except Sundays or religious services. This section shall not prohibit standing or stopping of vehicles for the purpose of loading or unloading.

Parking for a period longer than one hour is prohibited, except between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Main Street business owners, operators and employees are restricted from parking on Main Street except when loading and unloading vehicles and passengers, so long as the Town maintains a public parking lot
B. 
Nothing in this section shall be construed to permit parking in front of any fire hydrants, in front of the fire house, or in any other areas on said streets which may be designated as "No Parking" areas by the Town Superintendent of Highways or other proper authority.
A. 
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on all highways, roads and streets within the Town of Tusten between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. from November 15 of each year to April 25 of the following year.
B. 
Every violation of this section shall constitute a violation and shall be punishable by imprisonment for a term not to exceed five days or by a fine for the first violation of a maximum of $50, for the second violation of a maximum of $100 and for the third violation of a maximum of $150, or by both fine and imprisonment.
C. 
When a violation of this section is continuous, every 24 hours thereof shall constitute a separate and distinct violation.
Roller skates, in-line skates or all other types of skates or skateboards shall be prohibited on Kirk Road, Bridge Street, Main Street and the street which runs from the Conrail Bridge, past the school and under the underpass to the Pond Bridge.
