The Office of Assistant Township Manager is hereby created by the Township of Wilkins.

The Board of Commissioners may appoint and remove an Assistant Manager in the manner provided for appointment and removal of the Township Manager.
The qualifications of the Assistant Manager shall be the same as those for the Township Manager.

The bond and compensation of the Assistant Manager shall be as authorized by separate resolution of the Borough of Commissioners.

The powers and duties of the Assistant Manager shall be as authorized by separate resolution of the Borough of Commissioners.
The procedural limitations on the Board of Commissioners shall apply to the office of Assistant Manager.
When there is a vacancy in the office of Township Manager or during the absence of the Township Manager, the Assistant Manager shall act for the Township Manager.
