[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Grafton as Title 10, Ch. 10.22, of the 1979 Code; amended in its entirety by Ord. No. 017, Series 2005. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
A. 
"Motor vehicle(s)" shall include, but not be limited to, mobile home, moped, motor bicycle, motor scooters (not including ADA wheelchairs), motor bus, motorcycle, motor toys, motor trucks, or motor vehicles, as defined in Ch. 340, Wis. Stats.
B. 
Exceptions. The following motor vehicles are exempt from the provisions outlined herein:
1. 
Authorized emergency vehicles.
2. 
ADA-compliant motor scooters and/or wheelchairs.
3. 
Municipal vehicles.
4. 
Vehicles providing a service contracted by the Village of Grafton.
In the interest of public safety and pursuant to the provisions of § 66.0905, Wis. Stats., there are hereby designated pedestrian-only areas within the Village of Grafton. No motor vehicles, with the exception of those outlined in § 10.22.010B of this chapter, shall be permitted in the following areas:
A. 
On Twelfth Avenue from its intersection with Wisconsin Avenue and Bridge Street to a point 215 feet south of said intersection.
