Village of Grafton, WI Chapter 10.22 Pedestrian Malls

§ 10.22.010 Motor vehicle defined.

A. "Motor vehicle(s)" shall include, but not be limited to, mobile home, moped, motor bicycle, motor scooters (not including ADA wheelchairs), motor bus, motorcycle, motor toys, motor trucks, or motor vehicles, as defined in Ch. 340, Wis. Stats.

B. Exceptions. The following motor vehicles are exempt from the provisions outlined herein:

1. Authorized emergency vehicles.

2. ADA-compliant motor scooters and/or wheelchairs.

3. Municipal vehicles.

4. Vehicles providing a service contracted by the Village of Grafton.

§ 10.22.020 Pedestrian mall areas designated.

In the interest of public safety and pursuant to the provisions of § 66.0905, Wis. Stats., there are hereby designated pedestrian-only areas within the Village of Grafton. No motor vehicles, with the exception of those outlined in § 10.22.010B of this chapter, shall be permitted in the following areas:

A. On Twelfth Avenue from its intersection with Wisconsin Avenue and Bridge Street to a point 215 feet south of said intersection.
