[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Grafton as Title 10, Ch. 10.76, of the 1979 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The penalty for violation of any provision of this title shall be a forfeiture as provided in this chapter together with the cost of prosecution imposed as provided in §§ 345.20 to 345.53, Wis. Stats.

A. 
Any forfeiture for violation of the state statutes adopted by reference in Chapter 10.04 of this title shall conform to the forfeiture permitted to be imposed for violation of such statutes as set forth in the Uniform Deposit and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule of the Wisconsin Judicial Conference, including any variations or increases for subsequent offenses, which schedule is adopted by reference, as the same may be amended from time to time.
B. 
Where the Uniform Deposit and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule of the Wisconsin Judicial Conference, as amended, fails to provide a penalty for violation of a state statute adopted by reference in Chapter 10.04 of this title, the penalty shall be a forfeiture in accordance with the minimum and maximum limits for violation of the applicable statute.

The forfeiture for violation of Chapter 10.08, 10.16, 10.20, 10.22, 10.24, 10.28, 10.32, 10.36 or 10.40 of this title shall be not less than $5 nor more than $200 for the first offense and not less than $10 nor more than $500 for the second offense within two years.

The forfeiture for violation of any provision of § 10.16.020 (pertaining to speed limits) of this title shall be as provided in § 346.60, Wis. Stats.
