There is hereby established for the Town, pursuant to General
Statutes Title 28, an Emergency Management Office. Such office shall
consist of a Director, appointed by the First Selectman with the approval
of the Board of Selectmen, as hereinafter more particularly set forth,
and an Advisory Council of six members.
The powers and duties of the Advisory Council and the Director
shall be those set forth as to them in Title 28 of the General Statutes,
as the same may be amended from time to time. Subject to the provisions
of the statutes, the Director shall be responsible to the First Selectman.
