Pursuant to Act No. 247 of 1968, known as the "Pennsylvania
Municipalities Planning Code," as amended, supplemented and in effect
(53 P.S. § 10101 et seq.), there is hereby created a Borough
Planning Commission, which shall have all the powers and duties conferred
upon it by law and other powers vested in it by law or ordinance.
[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General
Provisions, Art. I)]
The Borough Planning Commission shall consist of not fewer than
three nor more than five members, as the Council may, from time to

Council and shall serve without compensation, except that they shall
be reimbursed for expenses incurred in carrying out their Commission
duties.
In addition to the powers and the duties conferred upon said
Commission by law, the Borough Planning Commission shall make an annual
report to the Borough Council showing its transaction and recommendations.
Said report shall review in substance all transactions and recommendations
made during the year, together with any new recommendation which the
Commission might wish to include.
