Town of Pound Ridge, NY Chapter 85 Rental Property

Article I Registration of Bed-and-Breakfasts

§ 85-1 Registration required; form to be filed.

A. Residents of the Town who desire to operate bed-and-breakfast facilities within the Town, as defined and regulated by New York State, must file with the Town Clerk and Town Police Department, in a form approved by the Town Board,[1] a certification which:

(1) Identifies the title owner and address of the bed-and-breakfast facility; and

(2) Certifies the owner's compliance with all New York laws applicable to the operation of bed-and-breakfast facilities.

B. Failure to file such biannual registration shall subject the owner of the premises to a daily fine of $250, commencing from the date the property is used as a bed-and-breakfast without the proper registration.
