The use of skateboards on streets, alleyways and sidewalks is deemed to be a safety hazard.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
SKATEBOARD
A vehicle propelled by human power and gravity consisting of material or a portion of material formed in a thin, firm sheet with wheels attached to the underside.
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in skateboarding or ride upon or propel any skateboard on public streets, alleys or sidewalks in the Borough of Larksville between the hours of one hour before sunset continuing through one hour after sunrise on any day. Further, no person shall place a ramp, half-pipe or other structure used for skateboarding in a public thoroughfare, street, or upon a sidewalk or municipal parking lot within the Borough of Larksville.
