The provisions of Chapter 178, Licenses, of this Code, insofar as the same may be applicable and not in conflict, shall apply to and govern the issuance of any license under the provisions of this article.
No person shall operate or maintain a bowling alley open to the public within this City without first having obtained a license therefor.
Application for a license to operate or maintain a bowling alley shall be made in writing to the City Clerk and shall state therein the intended location of the place of business and the number of alleys to be used.
No license to operate a bowling alley shall be issued without the consent of the City Council.

The hours for operating a bowling alley shall be between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight for each weekday and Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight for each Sunday.
