The provisions of Chapter 178, Licenses, of this Code, insofar as the same may be applicable and not in conflict, shall apply to and govern the issuance of any license under the provisions of this article.
It shall be unlawful for any person to locate, install, keep,
maintain or use or permit the location, installation, maintenance
or use upon his premises of any automatic coin-controlled or coin-operated
amusement, skill or vending box or device, including what is commonly
known as a "jukebox" which furnishes what is commonly called "canned
music," without first having obtained a license therefor.
No person shall exhibit or make available for use for a consideration
any coin-operated amusement or other vending machine, not otherwise
referred to in this Code, who does not possess a license from the
City specifically issued for the particular manufacturer's serial
number for that machine.
It shall be unlawful for any person to use or to play, or to
permit to be played, any coin-controlled or coin-operated musical
device in the City in a manner which interferes with the health, peace
and comfort of any person in the neighborhood thereof, and such use
is hereby declared to be a nuisance.
