[Adopted 10-22-1990 by L.L. No. 2-1990]
No person shall drive or operate a vehicle with a gross weight in excess of 10,000 pounds upon any street in the Village of Oakfield, excepting New York State Routes 63 and 262, except for the following reasons:
A. 
Directly en route to make a pickup or delivery within the Village of Oakfield.
B. 
Directly en route from or to a place of business within the Village of Oakfield.
C. 
Directly en route from or to a place of business within the Village of Oakfield where the vehicle is to be serviced.
No vehicle in excess of 10,000 pounds shall be parked upon any street or parkway within the Village of Oakfield, excepting New York State Routes 63 and 262.
Penalties for a violation of this article shall be assessed as follows:
A. 
For a first violation, the violator shall be subject to a fine of $25.
B. 
For a second and subsequent violation within a period of two years, the violator shall be subject to a fine of between $50 and $250.
Signs announcing the exclusion of said heavy vehicles shall be posted at all main entry points to the Village.
