Township of Shamong, NJ Article VI Sidewalks, Curbs and Street Trees

§ 147-30 Curbs and sidewalks.

For any road maintained by the Township or any other public entity that is lined with curbing and/or sidewalk, said curbing and/or sidewalk, regardless of the installer and absent of an agreement and resolution to assume responsibility, shall be maintained by the fronting property owner.

§ 147-31 Trees, plantings and other objects.

For any road maintained by the Township or any other public entity that is lined with trees, plantings or has any other object within its right-of-way, said trees, plantings or any other object, regardless of the installer and absent of an agreement and resolution to assume responsibility, shall be maintained by the fronting property owner.

§ 147-32 Violations and penalties.

Any person, firm, corporation, association or legal party whatsoever who or which shall violate, or authorize or procure a violation, or cause to be violated, any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, General Penalty, § 1-15, governing general penalty provisions.
